The beautiful Looe Valley Line runs from Liskeard to Looe six days a week all year round, and on Sundays in the summer. The last two miles of the journey along the banks of the river are one of the most scenic stretches of railway in the country.

Looe can easily be reached by train from all over the country via the Looe Valley Branch Line. This connects with the mainline at Liskeard and then runs 8 miles down the scenic Looe Vally to arrive in the town at a little station on the waters edge

The service runs seven days a week throughout the season but not on Sundays after mid September. Once in Looe you can use the train to travel around the county. The stations along the route are ideal for country walks, a selection of which can be found at www.trailsfromthetrack.com
