This classically beautiful house is a beguiling mixture of formal and informal. Still the Carew Pole’s family home, it contains fine paintings, furniture and textiles. Extensive grounds bordering the Lynher estuary include a woodland garden, yew topiary and modern sculptures.

Antony was used as the film set for Disney’s Alice in Wonderland directed by Tim Burton in cinemas this year.
