Out of Season
As summer turns slowly to autumn and the mist rolls down the river, Looe changes. It quietens down a bit, and once again the loudest sound is that is that of the sea crashing over the sand and onto the ragged rocks.
Many say that this is the best time to see Looe, but don’t tell everyone, else you wont have the place to yourselves, though you will have the locals to say hello to, safe in the knowledge that they will be happy to say hello back, and may even stop for a chat.
Most of the restauraunts stay open throughout the year and here at The Old Malt House we have some great offers.
Looe has often been voted as one of the top places in the country to be on New Years Eve. When the streets are full of revellers dressed in all manner of costume, but don’t forget that from early December the lights are switched on and the town comes alive in the lead up to Christmas. Why not visit Looe in the winter? enjoy a stroll along a deserted beach, have a pint beside a log fire in a traditional pub and buy some Cornish produce to give as a present when you get home.
Here at the Old Malt House we have special offers running both in and out of season, so why not take advantage of them and enjoy Looe at any point in the year. You can be assured of a warm welcome.
